App development for companies
Short answer
We build apps to run your business, not marketing apps: the software we deliver works in the browser on computer and phone, and parts such as hotel housekeeping are used as an installable app on the phone. You pay once and the code is yours.
What kind of app we build
Internal apps for your company's daily work: ringing up a sale, logging a room's housekeeping, recording a production batch, checking treasury or following up with a customer. Your team uses them with their own user and role, on a single database, so what is logged on the phone shows up for management on the computer right away. We do not build games, social networks or advertising-campaign apps.
Examples that already work
- Hotel housekeeping from the phone, as an installable app, with verification photos.
- Point of sale with barcode scanning, cash counts and register closing.
- Food plant with processes, batch passport and HACCP (the one Juan Choconat uses).
- Restaurant inventory with standard recipes, physical counts and transfers between locations.
How we do it
- 1. Diagnosis: we learn your operation, your roles and what is done today on paper, spreadsheets or other programs.
- 2. Base software: we pick the closest base to your case among the ones already in operation.
- 3. AI-assisted adaptation: we adjust flows, screens, permissions and reports to the way you work.
- 4. Handover: we install, train your team and hand over the code and documentation.
Native app, PWA or web app: comparison
These are three ways to bring software to the phone. The difference is how it is installed, how it is updated and which parts of the phone it can use. For most internal company apps (register, inventory, housekeeping, production, reports) a PWA or a web app covers what is needed with one version for every device.
| Criterion | Native app | PWA | Web app |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it is installed | From each system's app store | From the browser, with 'Add to home screen' | Not installed: opened with a link |
| Versions to maintain | One per operating system (e.g. Android and iOS) | One for phone and computer | One for phone and computer |
| Updates | Go through store review and each user updates | Reach everyone when the new version is published | Reach everyone when the new version is published |
| Device access | The broadest (sensors, Bluetooth, background tasks) | Camera, location and notifications; support varies by system and browser | Camera and location with browser permission |
| Offline | Yes, if built for it | Partial, if built for it (browser cache) | Usually needs a connection |
| When it fits | When you need phone features the web cannot give, or a store listing | Internal apps the team uses daily from the phone | Panels and reports opened from the computer |
What drives time and cost
- How close your operation is to a base software that already exists.
- How many roles, locations and different flows have to be covered.
- Whether data must be loaded from your current files and what format it is in.
- Whether you need phone features that require a native app.
- Timing depends on scope and is set in the diagnosis: how many processes, locations, roles and data have to go into the software.
What you receive
- One-time payment, no monthly license: at handover you receive the code, the accounts and the access credentials, with installation, operation and code documentation.
- Users, roles and permissions per employee.
- Training for your team at handover.
Support
- Implementation runs until the whole process is working with its roles; then you get 2 months of support.
Frequently asked questions
Is the app mine?
One-time payment, no monthly license: at handover you receive the code, the accounts and the access credentials, with installation, operation and code documentation.
Do you publish the app in app stores?
What we deliver today works in the browser and as an installable app (PWA). If you need it in an app store, we review it in the diagnosis before committing to anything.
Does it work on Android and iPhone?
Yes: since it runs in the browser, the same app opens on Android, iPhone and computer. Some phone features, such as notifications, depend on the system and browser.
How long does it take?
Timing depends on scope and is set in the diagnosis: how many processes, locations, roles and data have to go into the software.
How much does it cost?
Quote with a free diagnosis: we review your operation, tell you which base software applies and send you the proposal. Book the diagnosis in the calendar or message us on WhatsApp.
What happens after handover?
Implementation runs until the whole process is working with its roles; then you get 2 months of support.
